GeniusRocket at Crowdopolis

Everyone is doing it these days: crowdsourcing. We have private companies like Kickstarter and the public sector engaging in crowdfunding. We have individuals crowdsourcing ideas for marriage proposal memes, and behemoth brands like Dorito’s managing their own crowdsourcing contests. And of course, there is a whole cornucopia of disruptive startups (like us, obviously) innovating within the crowdsourcing space and delivering value to consumers and businesses that didn’t exist in the universe before.

Crowdopolis, coming this July 19th 2012 to sunny LA, is going to be the Oscars of crowdsourcing, where everyone who is a somebody in the industry will be attending. Oh, right, but there are no awards being given out and no speeches thanking parents and God being delivered. Rather, the biggest experts in the crowdsourcing industry will be dropping serious knowledge on specific areas of expertise within advertising, tech, and content marketing. It’s guaranteed that attendees will be leaving with their heads abuzz, brainstorming with clarity how crowdsourcing can deliver specific solutions to their personal or business challenges.

GeniusRocket’s very own president Peter LaMotte is one such expert given the honor to present. He’ll cover what’s currently available to clients in the video crowdourcing realm, and we promise the talk is going to be greater than awesome. Peter has spoken in countless conferences, seminars, and interviews around the country and is a pretty big deal in the crowdsourcing and video marketing domain. He’s not afraid to answer questions and he’ll speak with honesty about the current and future state of crowdsourcing.

Other highlights include keynote speakers:

  • Steven Shapiro-  Author, Best Practices are Stupid
  • Lisa Kennedy- Director of Strategic Marketing, Healthymagination, GE
  • Stephen Paljieg- Senior Director, Corporate Growth & Innovation, Kimberly-Clark
  • Kristen Kuehl- Senior Manager, Marketing & Strategy, Nokia
  • David Alan Gried0 – Author, When Computers Were Human
  • Sharon Chiarella- Vice President, Amazon
